Nutrition

Our menus have been devised by a nutritionist and aim to provide fresh balanced meals for all the children.

All fruit and vegetables used are fresh, locally sourced or grown by our pre-school children.

Fresh water is available to the children at all times throughout the day.

Rolling snack is available throughout the day. This consists of a variety of fruit, vegetables, cheese, dried fruit and bread sticks.

Breakfast is served until 8.30am, children are offered a variety of cereals and toast served with condiments. This is served with hot or cold organic milk.

Lunch is a home cooked meal prepared on site by our nursery cook, this is a balanced hot meal followed by a pudding.

A light tea is provided and includes homemade soups, sandwiches and quiche with salad. This is served with hot or cold organic milk.

For the younger babies, we provide a weaning menu which we adapt to each individual child.

All children are offered at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day.

All allergies and dietary requirements are catered for.
